Tumuli emerged in the 5th mill. BC in the context of social transformation during the Early Copper Age of Europe. These were the first monumental structures about which we can state that they were devoted to humans but not to gods. Thereof, emergence of the first tumuli is realized as important step owing to which human being dared to come nearer to gods and claimed about his pretentions for the sphere of celestial eternity. A sense of these monuments cannot be understood without the symbolism of circle which is hidden in the basis of the tumulus.
