The content of these syntheses represents some theoretical approaches that provide a clearer perspective, emphasizing some of the dimensions that we consider to be most relevant to our research. These theories try to place in the foreground, the basic stages that a couple goes through, the factors that constitute the basic pillars in the formation, growth and development of the couple/family. Therefore, the concepts elucidated in this article try to highlight the components that make up the concept of couple and its transformation over time.
