The article corresponds an overview of different interpretation of such phenomenon as Pushkin's personal myth. In the course of time Pushkin's figure developed into shaping of an "ethnic outlook" field, perhaps, that is why his place in culture is unique up till now. Around such an outstanding person forms specific personal mythology. As a rule, it happens almost with every celebrated historical character, but still there is no exact definition what is personal myth. In the article is given a survey of historiography of Pushkin's myth (also there is a try to give it's precise definition) and it's comparative analysis. The author draws a conclusion that Pushkin's personal myth and it's interpretation develop under the influence of every historical period's and cultural milieu's features and needs.
