In 2009, a hoard was found on Kudeyarova Gora Settlement (Russia, Kursk Region), consisting of 23 coins clipped in a circle (dirhams and 1 miliarisy) and a gold bead. Numismatic complexes with clipped coins are concentrated in a small region in Eastern Europe, known in the Russian chronicles as Posemye. The hoard’s youngest coins are dated by 989—990, and it is the latest hoard of those containing clipped circles. The clipped coins from Kudeyarova Gora have the smallest weight (0.4 g) and dimensions.
