In the article the finds of the Roman Republican coins which have been found out of south of Eastern Europe are analyzed. It is offered two approaches to a solution of a problem about their cultural context: coins could arrive either shortly aſter their release to synchronous cultures as one of kinds of the Roman import, or the coins could be brought in the beginning of III cent. AD by the German population from the territory of the Central Europe.
