The article is dedicated to the description of Kievan burial of the 10th  century. All known sites of the Old Russian burials are marked on the archaeological map of Kiev. The complete catalogue of burials (168 complexes) was compiled based on materials collected on Kievan burial grounds. Typology of construction of Old Russian burials has been developed on the basis of the catalogue, and basic categories of accompanying implements have been determined.
