The article attempts to chronologically separate the complexes of the Aldy-Bel’ culture of the early Scythian epoch. The concept of the coexistence of “living” and “dead” cultures opening up some archaic objects in complexes of a later time is used to determine chronological indicators. It is noted that mirrors with a high rim were found in the elder people's graves concurrent with the graves of younger people buried with mirrors of other types. The article identifies compexes where these objects correlate with horn combs standing at the beginning of the typological series of this category of objects.
Keywords: Tuva, early Scythian time, Aldy-Bel culture, microchronology, “living” and “dead” culture, mirrors with a high rim, combs
